This is a reminder that Back Alley Blues is still going strong, taking place every Thursday night in the U District. On our first week we had about 100 people show up! On the second week numbers were down a bit, but that actually made it easier to get more out of the night, creating more room to dance and giving everyone more time with the moderator.
[For those of you who were there on the first night and had trouble hearing the sound on the far side of the room, you should know that we've got that problem fixed, adding another set of speakers on that side.]
So, this Thursday, get your taxes in the mail, breathe a sigh of relief, and come out to Back Alley Blues! Because Steven and Virginie are coming to town this weekend, I'll bring in some of their videos and have them playing in the lounge. For those still thinking about taking the workshops, this would be a good opportunity to see what they look like in action.
